One company in Singapore has installed a holographic lift buttons module for an office building in Kallang to minimise the opportunities for people to touch surfaces that the public comes into contact with.
The holographic module allows lifting passengers to press the buttons without having to touch any surfaces.
Passengers who board the lift are just required to hover a finger about 10 mm to 15mm over the holographic button they want to press. And when they do. the corresponding physical buttons in the lift will also light up.
